While sailing across this vast ocean today,
While walking across the white sand.
While swimming on this sunny day in May,
My mind wandered to a different land.
I thought of the distance between our islands,
I thought of the great difference in time,
I thought of your country's wide expanse,
The varying customs of your land and mine.

While fishing in this deep, blue sea,
While sipping on some Old Oak Red,
While thinking of chats between you and me.
I pictured you asleep in your bed.
I thought of all the fun I was having,
I thought of all my loved ones down this way.
Then I thought of what I was missing,
And realised I hated being away from you today.
