You're my angel I so longed for,
You touched me like no one has before,
I think of you as my angel friend,
many times you helped my heart mend,
You lift me up when I feel down,
You put a smile on my frown,
give me inspiration to be what I want to be,
letting my wings expand to be free,
loving me like no other,
but careful not to smother,
reaching for my hand,
trusting to understand,
My angel whom I asked God to give,
My husband who makes me want to live,
I see an angel in you, the man I love,
and I was blessed by you from above!
